地鎮祭 Ground breaking ceremony
糟屋郡須惠町にて、木造住宅の(仮称)「須惠の小屋」新築工事が始まります。須惠という町名の由来は、古墳時代に須恵器という土器がここで生産されたからと言われています。郷ひろみさんの出身地だそうです。
Private house constrcution will start soon in Suemachi, Fukuoka. The origin of the city name came from a high-fired pottery called "Sueki" was produced in this place since 5th century.
本日、工事前の地鎮祭がおこなわれました。地鎮祭は建物の着工前におこなわれ、土地を清め、土地の神様に許しを求め、工事の安全を祈願するものです。5月末の完成に向けて頑張ります！
Ground breaking ceremony, we call "Jichinsai" in Japan, is the ceremony held before the construction of a building. The aim is to purify the ground, worship the local god and pray for safety during construction. We'll do our best toward the completion, the end of May.
