スポーツ競技場のパース製作依頼がありました。現在、工事中の現場です。３月には全面人工芝になる予定です。ラグビーやサッカーなどの激しい競技が頻繁に行われていたので、もともとの天然芝は大部分が傷んで禿げてしまったようです。
I made a perspective drawing of sports field that is under construction. This field's going to be artificial turf by March. People quite often played soccor and rugby there, so there was many bare spots in the natural grass field.


マルソル株式会社さんの扱っている良質の人工芝。ドイツ製のものだそうです。スポーツをするものにとっても、グラウンドがこうなると、こんなに嬉しいことはありません。
This is the artificial turf made of plastic, constructed by Marsol Corporation. This high quality turf is imported from Germany. We mostly have sandy or muddy field in Japan, but now athletes appreciate having such a good field condition.


まず、鉛筆の下書きでパースを作成。
Firstly, rough pencil drawing.


僕は手描きが好きですので、手描きのものをPhotoshopで取り込んで完成させました。しかし、このラフな手描き部分が気に入ってもらえず、修正依頼がありました。本当の手描きですと、修正がききませんが、Photoshopに取り込むことによって修正が可能になります。
I prefer handwriting, then edited some parts by Photoshop. This time the client doesn't like handwriting, I had to modify the drawing. Handwriting is hard to rewrite, but Photoshop makes it easier.


結局、ベタ塗りで修正することにしました。手描きは手間がかかるのですが、手間がかかるからいいということではないですね。人によってパースも好みが違いますので、それを察知することが大事ですわ。
I simply painted all over the mountain with green after all. I have to spent time for handwrite, but spending time is not always the best way. Each client has different taste. I have to read it before drawing.  

造園植栽について、藍ランドスケープ設計事務所の師匠から学んでいます。今回は和洋折衷のお庭を勉強させてもらいました。工事完了後に見学させて頂きました。
I've been learning landscape design from a proficient designer of Ai landscape design office. I observed the garden merging Japanese and Western style.


まず、こちらは洋のお庭。煉瓦タイルとオリーブ、夏みかんの木が印象的です。
This is the Western style garden. Brick floor, olive and mandarin trees are impressive.


９０度視線を変えるとそこには和のお庭。洋と和のお庭が隣接していますが、室内からはそれぞれの窓からどちらか一方しか見えないように設計されています。
Turned my eyes to the right, there was the Japanese style garden. Two adjoining gardens are neighbors, but you can only see either two of the gardens from inside of the house through windows.


敷石まわりには、コケの代わりにリュウノヒゲが。日当たりや水分に繊細なコケの代用として、生命力の強いリュウノヒゲを使うのは、環境に恵まれない場所にはいいです。
Mondo grass around the flagstones instead of moss. Moss is sensitive to moisture and sunshine, so sometimes better to use the vigorous Mondo grass instead, depends on the condition.


こちらには綺麗なスギゴケがしっかり生えています。洋の噴水の代わりに、日本のの庭には蹲（つくばい）があります。水がチョロチョロする音に癒されます。
Beautiful moss in this area. The East has fountains, we have "Tsukubai", a small basin. This sound of water drops is considered relaxing and soothing.

南欧の田舎町で見た、建築の内外に自然に緑を取り込む手法を研究しています。そのためにもこういった現場を実際に見ることがとても重要だと考えています。また、いっぱい学ばせて頂きました。
Ｉ study the way which I saw in the south Europe, bringing greenery to the interior and exterior of architectures. It's very important for my study to see more construction sites.　Learned a lot in this garden.  

私が主に大工工事をお願いしている棟梁が、ご自宅をご自身で建設中です。お餅まきから参加させて頂き、それからちょくちょく訪ねてはその経過を見させてもらってます。お餅まきとは、上棟式などの神事に際して集まった人々へ餅をまく行事です。
My partner, one master carpenter has been building his own house. I've observed its process since the start, Mochimaki celemony. Mochimaki is an event of scattering rice cakes for people who come to a Shinto ritual, such as jotoshiki - the framework raising ceremony held during construction of a new building.


現状は、このように飫肥杉の外壁が張られています。この棟梁は、良質な宮崎県産の飫肥杉を広めるべく、このご自宅をモデルハウスにして、お客さんに実際に見てもらえるようこのお家を建てているそうです。
The local cedar siding has been installed on the exterior wall. This carpenter's passionate to let peple know how good the ”Obi cedar" is, so this house will be a model house for his clients.


和室には、もともとの自然の木の状態で使用される柱があります。
In the Japanese-style room, one pillar is an unprocessed wood.


床材は、30mmもある飫肥杉を浮造（うづくり）仕上げにしています。浮造とは、木の板・柱などの柔らかい部分を磨きながら削ぎ落として木目を浮き上がらせ、木材の見た目を美しくする仕上げのことです。
The floor is also Obi cedar, 30mm thickness and "Uzukuri" finish on the surface of wood. "Uzukuri" is that scrubbing wood surface using a tool traditionally made of dried grass bound together by hemp cord. The finish beautifully emphasizes wood grain.


吹き抜け部の梁が見えますが、半端なくデカイ！住宅でこんな梁せいはなかなか見れません。
There're some huge depth beams in the double-height room. You can't easily see such a big beam in nomal houses.


棟梁のお子さん3人が勉強するのに十分な長さのある勉強机。こんな料亭のカウンターで使えそうな分厚い机、贅沢です。
Enough study space for his three kids. This table is like the counter of really expensive Japanese-style restarurants.


こちらのパーゴラのような部分には、木の屋根が葺かれます。水に強い飫肥杉ですが、棟梁もこれを外装板で使用したことはなく、今後どのようになっていくかは想像できないそうです。棟梁曰く、「実験住宅」だそうです。しかし、本物の材料を使用すれば、経年劣化ではなく経年美が生まれることは確かです。どうなっていくか、楽しみです。
This terrace space will be roofed with shingles. "Obi cedar" contains a large amont of resin, so it has waterproof and durability. However, this carpenter has never used this material for exterior like walls and roofs, and can not guess what the condition will be. He said, "This is an experimental house." I'm sure in case you use real and natural materials, you will see "aging beauty", not "aged deterioration" in the future. Looking forward to it.  

正月に尾道に帰った続き。尾道にはこういった昭和の下町感あふれる通りがあります。こういうところにポツンとお洒落なお店が隠れてます。
Following the last blog, I was in Onomichi, Hiroshima for a New Year's Day. I walked around the alleys that has the nostalgic atmosphere. The town dotted with stylish shops and cafes.


線路から上にあがるとお寺さんや坂道が多いんです。
Onomichi has many temples, slopes northen above the railway.


初詣は西国寺で。山門の大わらじはでかい！ここは歴史と由緒あるお寺です。ここの建築は築500年以上のものもあります。不動明王と毘沙門天にお参りしてきました。
The practice of visiting a temple during the New Year was at Saigo temple. You can see the huge straw sandals at the main gate. This temple has a great history and some of the wooden buildings are more than 500 years old. I prayed to the buddhism gods, Acala and Vaiśravaṇa.


尾道はラーメンも名物で美味しいんです。醤油ベースで豚の背脂が入ってます。名店があちこちにありますが、今回は朱華園さんで。
One of the specialities of Onomichi is a noodle which based on a soy sauce soup and contains fled pork fat. Onomichi has some good noodle restaurants, I visited the most famous one "Shukaen".


しかし、僕のばぁさまのつくったお雑煮がいっちゃん美味いですわ。焼き穴子の香ばしい出汁ベースの絶品です。
However, "Ozouni" which is a Japanese soup containing mochi rice cakes, cooked by my grandma is always the best in the world. The soup has a flavor of grilled conger. The dish is strongly associated with the Japanese New Year.   

お正月は祖母のいる尾道に帰省しました。坂が寺社が多く、情緒のある好きな街のひとつです。
I visited my grandma in Onomichi, Hiroshima. Onomichi has slopes and temples everywhere, and is one of my most favorite cities with a nostalgic atmosphere.


去年は、衝撃的な朝の連ドラに出会いました。「てっぱん」です。尾道出身の主人公が、様々な人に出会い、苦難を乗り越え、大阪に立派なお好み焼き屋さんを構えるお話です。尾道が舞台ということで見たのがきっかけですが、感動しました。
Last year I watched the TV drama called "Teppan", its story's about one girl grew up in Onomichi, she moves to Osaka to be a great owner of Okonomiyaki restauran. I was so moved by the drama.　　


尾道水道には、造船場と漁船がたくさん並んでいます。
There's a row of dockyards and small ships along the Onomich strait


このドラマで日の目を見た「尾道焼き」。お好み焼きに砂ずりとイカ天が入ってるのが特徴です。
"Onomichiyaki" is the local Okonomiyaki that gizzards and flattened dried cuttlefish are added. It became famous food after the drama.


ここはドラマ「てっぱん」で、主人公が海に投げられたトランペットを取りに飛び込んだ場所です。この目の前には、「からさわ」という美味しいアイスクリーム屋さんがあります。
This is where the main character jumped into the sea to pick up a trumpeters thrown by one lady in the drama scene. There's a really yummy icecream shop "Karasawa" near the place.
