昨年、民家をカフェに改装した西新の”あかり珈琲”。珈琲はもちろん美味しいんですが、最近は手作りケーキが評判だそうです。
Last year we renovated an old house to a cafe, called "Akari Cafe" in Nishijin, Fukuoka. Its coffee is certainly good, but the handmade cake has a good reputation.


ガトーショコラ。
Chocolate cake.


ドーナツとロールケーキ。太る。
Doughnut and swiss roll. I'm probably fat.


シフォンケーキ。
Chiffon cake.


苺のショートケーキ。
Strawberry shortcake.


これが最近イチオシのバナナとチョコのトライフル。スポンジケーキ、クリーム、フルーツが入ったイギリスのお菓子だそうです。
This is now the Akari's recommendation, Trifle, made from thick custard, fruit, sponge cake, fruit, and whipped cream.

ケーキは、季節の旬のフルーツを使ってますので、時期によって変わります。どれもオススメです!
The cakes are always different because the owner uses seasonal fruits and ingredients. They are all my recommendations!







  

先日、高校時のラグビー部監督の退職祝いのため、教え子が神戸に集うことになりました。そして、監督をふまえてラグビーの試合をしてきました。学年が違うOBで円陣。
Recently my high school rugby mates got together in our hometown, Kobe, and celebrated for retirement of our rugby coach. The coach and we huddled up and played rugby.


監督はもう60歳なのにいまだキレキレ。トリッキーで現役時は凄かったんやろなぁと思わせるようなプレーを見せてくれました。
The coach is already 60, but still quick and shap movement on rugby. He showed us his magic play, so we could easily imagine that he was too good when he was young.


監督からパスを受ける。そして、先輩後輩とラグビーを楽しむ。ほんまに幸せな時間でした。
Received a pass from the coach, and played rugby with all different grades. That was one of the happiest moments.


試合のあとは監督胴上げです。
Tossed our coach into the air after the game.


高校のときは、ほんまに怖かったんですけど、本当に尊敬する恩師で、この人に出会えて良かった。この後は、飲み会。楽しかったぁ...
When we were in high school, everyone was so afraid of him, but now we believe that we're all glad we could meet him, and always respect him. We had a party after this.
