Golden Oldies

先週、ゴールデンオールディーズ・ワールドラグビーフェスティバル福岡に参加しました。世界各国から35歳以上のラガーマンが集うラグビーと国際交流の祭典です。これは、妥協を許さないような真剣勝負ではなく、友情を育み、フィールドの内外で仲間と一生忘れられないようなひとときを楽しむものです。
I took part in the " Golden Oldies World Rugby Festival Fukuoka". This Festival has gathered veteran players over 35 years old from around the world. This is not uncompromising competition but rather the means of cementing friendships and enjoying the company of some of life's most unforgettable characters on and off the field.


激しいプレーは控えめに、笑いながら楽しんでラグビーができました。あらためて何年も前に一緒にプレーしていた仲間とラグビーができるのが、本当に嬉しい。
We did not have intense performance of rugby, more enjoyable. The happiest moment was that playing rugby togerther with brothers in arms.


笑いながらラグビーできるて、なかなかないですよ。
We can hardly play rugby with a smile.


楽しかったぁ。そして試合の後に飲みに行く、これが一番楽しいんです。
I really enjoyed playing the game, we then went out for boozing. This was the another happiest moment.


対戦チームとの記念撮影。時々、本気で当たられてちょっと痛かったです。
No side, photographed all togerther. Someone seriously smashed me couple of times, had sore shoulder.
