マリア様、生まれて初めてひったくりに会いました。が、何も取られませんでした。ありがとうございます。原チャリが右折しようとしてきて、お先にどうぞと道を譲ってくれたと思いきや、背後からバッグに手を掛けられ、持って行かれそうになりました。幸いバッグは身体に巻きつけるタイプだったので、ひったくりも諦めて逃げて行きました。咄嗟に「Fxxxxxck!」って叫んだのが後で恥ずかしかった。何で英語やねん。イタリアやし。「待て、こらぁ！」って大阪弁の方がまだよかった。しかし、自分みたいなずんぐりむっくりにまさか仕掛けてくるとは思いませんでした。やっぱ警戒しとかんといかんですね。後、夜に人通りの少ないところを歩いてたのもあきません。アイツ、今度会ったらバイクから引き摺り下ろす！
Ave Maria, full of grace, I almost had the first time pickpocket, but wasn't taken anything. One scooter tried to turn right, its driver gave way to me, and suddenly he tried to take my bag. Fortunately, I winded my bag on my body, so he gave up and ran away. I instantly shouted him "Fxxxxxck!", but I realized that was so embarrassing later. Why English, not Italian? Poor vocabulary! It was better to say "Mate, Korrrrra!" in Osaka accent. I thought I'd never been a target by pickpockets because of my stumpy physique, but actually it happened. I should not let my guard down. Shouldn't have been walking an empty street late at night. Next time when I see him, I'll throw him down!
藤の花の色した綺麗な木がありました。こんなん初めて見ました。シシリア第2の街、カターニアです。
I saw some light purple trees like wisteria. I've never seen such a colored tree. This is the second biggest city in Sicilia, Catania.
ベッリーニ劇場です。茶色い石の表情が印象的。ベッリーニという19世紀の有名な音楽家が生まれた地だそうです。10月頃からオペラやバレエが上演されるそうです。
I was impressed the brown color of stone building, The Bellini Theatre. I've heard this is the place world famous musician, Bellini was born. Ballet and opera are performed from October.
大聖堂です。この周辺はバロック様式の建築が建ち並んでいます。
The Cathedral, baroque buildings stand in a row around the square.
教会はやっぱ凄い。先の神様のいる円筒箇所だけが神々しく黄色い光りに包まれています。黄色いステンドグラスと、金色の壁画装飾で、その部分だけに金色に演出している。
Churches are great all the time. Only the cylinder part of this church, where god exists, is surrounded by the gold decoration and the light through the yellow stained glass. Great example of the stage effects.
教会のこの部分は何処を見ても飽きません。多様で神々しい光を取り入れるよう工夫されている。
I never be tired of seeing this part of church. They are various, and designed to take the light into buildings.
シシリア島には素朴な島のイメージがありましたが、パレルモやカターニャは都会です。僕は、タオルミーナ、ラグーサ、特にパラッツォ・アドリアーノのような静かで素朴な街の方が好きです。次はマルタへ向かいます。相変わらず就職活動は連戦連敗です。
I had an primitive and homely images of this island, but those cities, Palermo and Catania are so big. I prefer Small peaceful towns, Tarmina, Ragusa, and especially Pallazzo Adriano. I'm heading to Malta today, my job husting's still losing in a row.
