木もれびアルキテクト Comorebi Arquitecto

ゴッドファーザーのパレルモからバスに乗ること３時間。パラッツォ・アドリアーノという田舎町に来ました。ここは観光地ではなく、ほんとのシシリアの田舎町です。宿もインターネットでやっとこさ一軒見つけました。とてものどかな街で、僕はローマやフィレンツェよりも、ここの方が好きです。
From Godfather's Palermo, took a bus for 3 hours to the south, I had a car sick. Palazzo Adriano, countryside of Sicilia. Not a tourist place. I could find only one hotel at website. I prefer this peaceful village to Rome or Florence.


ここは映画「ニュー・シネマ・パラダイス」の舞台となったところです。よっぽどの映画好きやないと、人は来ないみたいですね。
The scene of the movie "Nuovo Cinema Paradiso" is on the village. Only a filmgoer visit this place.


上の写真にもある映写技師アルフレードの乗ってた自転車です。ニュー・シネマ・パラダイスの小さな博物館があるんです。ガイドさんがイタリア語で丁寧に説明してくれました。全然、わかりませんでしたけど、気持ちは伝わりました。あかん、また観光してるって言われる。建築見ないかん。
This is the bike Alfredo took a ride in the movie. There's a small museum of "Nuevo Cinema Paradiso", the guide closely explained about the exhibition in Italian. I totally didn't understand what she talked about, but I could imagine
that, because I watched that movie so many times. Shit! Someone would say "Are you going to Europe for sightseeing?". Nope!


細かい石畳が素敵なウンベルト１世広場です。広場の噴水は1607年に造られたもので、それからずっと水は枯れることもなく、街の人々の喉を潤してきました。僕は胃腸弱いんですけど、こっちの硬水は全然大丈夫なようです。人口は3,000人くらいで、宿のにーちゃんは街の人、全員知ってる言うてました。
Piazza UmbertoⅠ, beautiful pavement squre. The small fountain was built in 1607, since then it has slaked local people's thirst with pure water. I have a weak digestion, but hard warter in Europe is no problem for me. The population in the village is about 3,000, and a young fellow in hotel said he knew everyone in this village.


1532年に建てられたサンティッシマ・マリア・アッスンタ教会。この教会はカトリックではなく、ギリシャ正教だそうで、カトリック教会とは少し異なった景観をしています。だからこの広場の向いにはもう一つ、ルーメの聖母マリア教会というバロック様式の教会があるんです。カトリック教会なんでしょう。
Church of SS. Assunta, built in 1532, is not the Catholic Church, but Greek Orthodox Church, its exterior is different from Catholics. There's another baroque church, Church of SS. del Lume. That's why this squre has two churches face to face in the squre.


ここはカルミネ教会という、映画の中でパラダイス座の内部として撮影されていた場所です。おばちゃんが綺麗な花を生けてました。ネットで見学不可とありましたが、おばちゃんからOKもらいましたよ。
This is the Church of SM. del Carmine, inside of the church was used as Cinema paradiso. Senioritas put some beautiful flowers, and they said it's OK to come in. On the website, it says impossible to see though.


夕暮れどきにはこんなにロマンチックになります。ここも照明が上手で、すごく雰囲気がいいです。だいたい観光地って期待膨らませ過ぎて、実物見てそないに感動せんのですけど、ここは本当に想像以上に素晴らしい街でした。
It's so romantic around sunset. They are also really good at using atmospheric lighting. Before you travel, you expand your imagination too much, then realize reality is not so, but this place is more than I expected.


これ、この映画の大好きなワンシーンで、パラダイス座に入りきれなかった人の為に、アルフレードが気を効かせて、外の建物に映画を写し出すシーンなんです。
This is one of the most favorite scenes in this movie that Alfredo reflects the movie on someone's house wall for the people who couldn't get in the theatre.


実際の建物がこれなんすよ。僕も自分が将来、設計したお店でこれをするのが夢です。ちなみにパラダイス座は映画用に造られたセットで、撮影後は壊されてなくなっています。
This is the same shot of the same wall. One day I will design the same thing for restaurants or bars. By the way, Cinema paradiso was the set of movie, removed after the movie.
